Rating : - DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY
I bought this thinking how cool it would be to use our brand new kitchen aid to make ice cream and that I would use this all the time and that was almost 2 years ago and I have only used it once! For one thing it takes an extensive amount of time to prepare the unit to use it. You have to put the bowl in the freezer (if you have room that is) for at least 12 hours to allow the bowl to be clear and than you can install it on your Kitchen Aid and you let it run for about 15 min than its back into the freezer with the bowl to allow the ice cream to harden. Although it looks nice to me it was a waste of money. I would have been better off buying a Ice Cream Maker for half the price.
